HN was invited to participate in the Charity Chair Project, an initiative of Ait and BBxx Co to redesign one chair. The chairs will be auctioned in Germany and the proceeds will be donated to Langa Township in Cape Town, South Africa. HN transformed the ONO chair into a community chair. This represents the close knit community that is forced to live together. The shacks people live in are made out of discarded materials. The whole community use materials that have been found or been given. And so the Community Chair was born. Special thanks to Marco Heederik.
