Hollandse Nieuwe together with Paul de Ruiter architects and Karres en Brands landscape architects, reached the final round for the DSM renovation of 32.000 m2 in Sittard. A state-of-the-art design was developed whereby the vitality of the employees, sustainability and activity related work pushed the present borders. Feedback on our presentation included “a special quality of Hollandse Nieuwe is that they profile themselves strongly as ‘change agents’, explicitly looking at the building as a management tool.” A point that we have been following since 1995 and that today is extremely relevant to many organisations.
